When it comes to the written word, I am a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail and a deep love of the English language, which is infinitely flexible and expressive and adapting to incorporate new technologies and ideas. This picture sums me up, really!  I'm the sort of person who drives my friends mad by pointing out continuity errors in films. Well, I also can't help picking up on and missing or misplaced apostrophes in writing!  Being pedantic is all part of the job!

I have an honours degree in English Literature from the University of Sheffield, an MA in Communication Studies from Sheffield Hallam University, and 30+ years’ experience in higher education management, writing, drafting and editing reports, correspondence, websites, intranet pages, prospectus entries and promotional material.
